By default, a group's resource settings are automatically applied to all its subgroups.
If a subgroup requires different settings, they can be adjusted in the Administration Tool.
Automatic Application
- By default, subgroups inherit the resource settings of their parent group.
- This ensures consistent configurations within the group tree.
Customizing Resource Settings for Subgroups
- Navigate to the administration tool via the nine dots
in the top right corner. - Go to the Group Tree menu.
- Select the desired subgroup that should have different resource settings than the parent group.
- Right-click on the three dots on the right and choose View details.
- Switch to the “Resources” tab.
- Deactivate the option “Inherit settings from parent group (…)”.
- Enter the desired custom resource settings.
- Save.
