What are the different device statuses and what do they mean?

The “Devices” section displays all of your customers' RATIONAL cooking systems connected to Digital Service Manager in one place. Here you can monitor and manage the current status of each individual device.

The various tabs above the list (spreadsheets) are quick filters for:

  • All customer devices connected to Digital Service Manager
  • Devices with current messages or errors
  • Devices with connection interruptions
  • Pending device invitations
  • PRO: All licensed devices in the overview
  • PRO: All unlicensed devices
  • PRO: All expired licenses


The status indicators give you a quick overview of the connectivity and condition of the devices:

  • GOOD: The device is properly connected to ConnectedCooking and switched on. All functions such as software updates, data downloads, and remote access are available.
  • ERROR: There is a service error with the device. Certain functions may be restricted or unavailable.
  • NO CONNECTION: The device is currently not connected to Digital Service Manager. No data can be transferred or received. Remote access is also not possible. If the device is not turned off, check the internet connection.
