Multi-factor authentication is only available for accounts that are not linked via social login or Single Sign On (SSO) e.g. Google and Apple.
Multi-factor authentication provides additional security for your account by adding another factor for authentication.
Enable Multi-factor authentication
- Go to
App Drawer
Account
Security
- Tap the Multi-factor authentication Toggle
- Read the instructions and tap Set up MFA
- Enter your current password
- Tap Continue with setup
- (Option 1) Scan the QR code with any Authenticator App that you like. You can find them in the Play Store or the App Store.
- (Option 2) Tap Can't scan the QR code? and copy the secret to your Authenticator App or password manager
- Tap I have scanned the code
- Write down the Recovery code in a secure place e.g. your password manager
- Tap I saved the code
- Enter the code from your Authenticator App or password manager
- Tap Finish
