Overview of Sensor Settings

Highlightbox

This article explains the different configuration options available for sensors, especially for monitoring temperature values and setting alarms. These functions enable precise adaptation to operational needs and improve responsiveness in case of deviations.

Measurement Limits

  • Minimum and maximum values define the allowed temperature range
  • Values outside this range can automatically trigger an alarm (if activated)

Alarm Settings

  • Disable Temperature deviation alarms: Controls whether notifications are sent in case of deviations.
  • Delay alarming: Time that must elapse after reaching the limit before an alarm is triggered
  • Repeat alarming: Define when an alarm should be repeated

Set alarm Intervals

  • Basic schedule:
    • If the alarm is active all day, the time is automatically set to 24 hours
    • Alternatively, a start and end time can be defined to receive alarms only within a specific time window
  • Send alarms only on specific days:
    • Activated via the option "Send alarms only on specific days"
    • Select desired weekdays for targeted notifications

Advanced Settings

  • Allow for detailed time control of alarms per day
  • Individual start and end times can be set per weekday
