How to use a device Label

Highlightbox

A device-specific label is a type of identifier used to specify particular device types within a system. This label ensures that certain actions, such as checkpoints or maintenance tasks, are executed only in locations or areas where the specified device is present.

For example, if you have a brand-specific checkpoint for cleaning coffee machines, the label would be applied to areas where coffee machines of that brand are used. This way, the cleaning checkpoint is triggered only in those designated areas, ensuring targeted and efficient maintenance.
