A device-specific label is a type of identifier used to specify particular device types within a system. This label ensures that certain actions, such as checkpoints or maintenance tasks, are executed only in locations or areas where the specified device is present.

For example, if you have a brand-specific checkpoint for cleaning coffee machines, the label would be applied to areas where coffee machines of that brand are used. This way, the cleaning checkpoint is triggered only in those designated areas, ensuring targeted and efficient maintenance.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Create a Device label
    • Go to -Hygiene Management -Organization -Labels
    • Select “Device label”
    • Click on "Create"
    • Select the Language and give the label a Name , e.g., English , Coffee Machine.
  2. Assign the label to a Checkpoint
    • Navigate to -Hygiene Management -Organization -Checkpoint Library ( Or -Hygiene Management -Checklists -Central Checkpoints)
    • Open the setting of a checkpoint
    • Add the newly created label in General Setting option on the bottom, and then Save.
  3. Store Settings
    • Go to -Hygiene Management -Organization -Group Settings
    • On the right side of the desired Group Click on the shield icon
    • Click on 'Create' (In case a New Area should be created) or Click on 3 Dots of the area where the checkpoint should be executed, and then Edit
    • Search for the Device label and select it
    • Add extra setting if required and then 'Save'

Note :

    • The checkpoint will appear only where the Device label has been added
    • A Rollout is needed after this configuration
