How to edit a group

This article explains how to edit an existing group in ConnectedCooking, e.g. to change the group name, group type, parent group or manage members.


Accessing the group administration:

  1. Start from the ConnectedCooking homepage
  2. Click on appDrawerAdministrationbreadcrumb dividerGroup Treein the right upper corner


Select and edit a group:

  1. Find the group you want to edit
  2. Click on the three dots next to the group name
  3. Select View details


Edit options within the group:

  • Change group name:
    • Click the pencil icon next to the name
    • Enter the new name and save via Save Changes
  • Change parent group or group type:
    • Select the desired value from the dropdown
    • Save the changes
  • Add subgroup:
    • Directly assignable to the current group by 'Add a group'
  • Invite users directly:
    • Via the user management within the group using the 'Invite user' button
  • Adjust address inheritance:
    • By default, the parent group's address is inherited
    • To set an individual address:
      • Deactivate the inheritance toggle
      • Confirm the deactivation
      • Adjust the fields using the pencil icon
  • Invite service partner:
    • Can be added directly within the group
  • Add software applications:
    • Via the API Clients menu within the group
