On the ConnectedCooking website sensors can be registered or unregistered. This allows easy management and ensures that only active and required sensors are in use.
Register a sensor
- Go to 'Hygiene Management'
- Go to the Application Hygiene Management
- Go to 'Sensors & Gateways'
- Click '+ Add new' -> Add a sensor
- Enter the serial number (16 digits when using RATIONAL sensors) of the sensor -> Next step
- Enter the name and select the group
- Complete setup with temperature ranges, alarms....
- Confirm with Save Changes
- Verification
- The sensor now appears on the page
- Check if status and connection are displayed correctly
Unregister a sensor
- Go to 'Hygiene Management'
- Go to 'Sensors & Gateways'
- Select sensor
- Find the sensor you want to remove
- Click on sensor in the sensor's view and select the wheel on the top right
- Click De-register on the bottom left
- Confirmation
- Confirm the action in the dialog window and click 'De-register'
- The sensor is now unregistered but still visible on the sensor overview page on the bottom 'De-registered sensors'
If the sensor should get deleted, then the sensor needs to get selected ('De-registered sensors' on the bottom of the overview page) -> 3 dots on the right -> Delete.
That will finally delete the sensor and all its temperature values.
