About Shopping Baskets

Shopping Baskets represent a collection of custom cooking programs or cooking paths that can be used in the iProductionManager.
For example, the "Breakfast" basket might include the cooking programs "Bacon," "Scrambled Eggs," "Beans," etc. Typically, shopping baskets are used in the iProductionManager in two different ways:

  • In à la carte mode, shopping baskets function as a kitchen order board. Depending on the order, individual tickets (cooking programs) can be dragged into the iProductionManager. This ensures that only the dishes that have been ordered are produced.
  • Additionally, the iProductionManager can be used to create a production plan. The basis for this is again the content of the shopping basket. This plan can be optimized for time or energy savings, or scheduled to be ready by a specific target time, e.g., 12:00 p.m. for lunch service.

Shopping baskets can be centrally stored and distributed to all connected iCombi units via ConnectedCooking. This ensures standardized cooking processes across multiple kitchens and locations. ConnectedCooking offers access to over 14,000 tested and verified recipes and cooking programs that can be used in shopping baskets.

Key Features of Shopping Baskets

  • Image Support: Each basket can be assigned an image to simplify identification both in ConnectedCooking and directly on the device.
