Overview
The WGT-11 is a LoRaWAN gateway used in the RATIONAL environment for wireless communication with sensors such as WTS-10, WTS-11, and WTS-12. The gateway receives sensor data and forwards it to the ConnectedCooking server.
The setup is plug & play:
- The WGT-11 automatically obtains its IP address via DHCP
- After registration in ConnectedCooking, the gateway is immediately online
Requirements for Commissioning
- Network requirements are met (access, DHCP active)
- ConnectedCooking account for HMP is activated
- Registration of the WGT-11 in ConnectedCooking
- Power supply:
- Standard: PWR 5V-2A power adapter
- Alternative: PoE adapter (RJ45 + USB-C)
- Network connection via RJ45 cable
- Antenna properly mounted
Setup Steps
1. Check the Network
- ConnectedCooking HMP - Data Security and Data Transfer
- ConnectedCooking HMP - Information Network Requirements
2. Registration in ConnectedCooking
- Log in to the ConnectedCooking account
- Navigate to Hygiene Management → Sensors → Overview
- Click the red “+ Add” button, then select “Add Gateway”
- Complete the input form:
- Assign a name for the WGT-11
- Enter the GWID of the gateway
- Select the group to which the device will be assigned
- Confirm by clicking Save.
3. Connect the Hardware
- Connect the network cable and power supply
- Mount the antenna properly
4. Functional Test
- The gateway will be displayed as online in ConnectedCooking.
- LED status:
- Power LED: solid red
- LAN LED: solid green
- Globe LED: solid green

Notes and Recommendations
Positioning:
Ensure optimal wireless range with an elevated and unobstructed position (no shielding).
Error Diagnostics:
Use LED codes and system logs for troubleshooting.
