How to fix the “Invalid invitation” error when accepting an invitation?

When trying to accept an invitation to a ConnectedCooking account, you may see the error message “Invalid invitation – The invitation link is no longer valid.” This happens if you are already logged in to a ConnectedCooking account.

Short introduction:
The invitation can only get accepted if you are not logged in to another ConnectedCooking account.


Solution steps:

  • Log out of your current ConnectedCooking account.
  • Open the invitation link again.
  • Follow the instructions to accept the invitation.


Note:
Make sure you are completely logged out before clicking the invitation link. Only then the invitation can get processed correctly.
