Creating a cooking program in ConnectedCooking is straightforward. Follow the steps below to set up a program, assign it to a cooking system, and customize it according to your preferences.
Step-by-step guide:
- Start in ConnectedCooking
- Open the ConnectedCooking homepage
- In the left-hand menu, go to Recipe Management

- Create a new program
- Click the red Create button
- Select Program
- Enter program details
- You will now see the input screen for the new cooking program
- Title: Enter a suitable name for the program
- Description: Optionally add a description for better identification
- Tags: Add keywords to find your program more easily, e.g. barbecue
- Add an image
- Scroll down and upload an image. This will appear on the cooking system display to help identify the program quickly
- Choose which part of the image should appear
- Click Save
- Assign cooking system and settings
- Select the required cooking system
- Choose the program type (recommended: intelligent)
- Set the display language (e.g. German)
- Set the cuisine (e.g. German). This adjusts the display to local eating and cooking habits
- Configure the cooking program
- Scroll down to define the cooking steps
- From the top menu, choose a food category (e.g. meat)
- From the left menu, choose a cooking method (e.g. grilling)
- Customize cooking parameters
- Decide whether to use a core temperature probe
- Set the desired browning level and core temperature
- Add accessories
- Scroll further down to include any necessary accessories
- Save the program
- Click Save to complete the setup
Program access
- The newly created cooking program will be available in your company's recipe overview.
- Note: Only users associated with the account can access the program.
Make sure to review and test the program on the cooking system to ensure it meets your expectations before using it in production.
