How can I change my email address?

It is not possible to change the email address of an existing user in ConnectedCooking directly, because the email address also serves as the user ID.
A workaround is to invite a new user with the desired email address and then delete the old user.

This guide is for Account Administrators. Other users should ask their Account Admin to invite the new email address and afterwards delete the old user.

Solution

  1. Go to appDrawerAdministration > Users.
  2. Click the red “+ Invite user” button.
  3. Enter the new user’s data.
    • Use the same role as the old user
  4. Log out of the account and accept the invitation sent to the new email address.
  5. Log in using the new email address.
  6. Go again to appDrawerAdministration > Users.
  7. Edit the old user:
    • Click the three dots next to the user name
    • Change the role to a lower permission level (e.g. “User”) and save
  8. Click the three dots again and select “Delete account” to remove the old user.

Now only the new user with the new email address remains.
